Turkey, stuffing & goals
Thanksgiving week over here in the States - whole place starts grinding to a halt about lunchtime tomorrow - then it’s a holocaust of calories for a couple of days and papering over the cracks of your relationships with many people your related to. What joy!
Seriously, the food and company are terrific & Thursday is a big NFL day - But! - before we get there, there’s 2 days of Champions League to wet your whistle.
However - Before we get there - Special Mention to Scotland last week qualifying for their first World Cup in 28 years - memorable stuff, some readers on this thread were in attendance - if you didn’t see - watch the highlights, out of the 4 goals Scotland scored 3 were exceptional.
Back to business - Today at 12.45 not much, unless you like watching basement fights - Ajax and Benfica, the only 2 teams still on 0 points go head to head / They’re both probably already toast in this years CL - so not much here
At 3 there’s a couple of games to watch - Stand out tie is Chelsea (who’ve been hanging around the top of the EPL this year) host Barcelona / Definitely worth your time / I like the look of Marseille v Newcastle & also Napoli v Qarabag, The Neapolitans really need to get their finger out or this year is going to pass them by - Superstar Scotsman Scott McTominay could do with another bicycle kick 7 days on from that belter in Glasgow.
Short on time today.
Enjoy Today’s Matches
